TRAIN TOWN HOST VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Since October 2, 2021, our Division hosts weekly showings of our Wade's Train Town project at the Model Railroad Center of the Newton Depot in Newton, NC. The showings are on each Saturday from 10 am until 4 pm. Voluteer hosts are needed to assist the Leadership Team in providing a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. Volunteer hosts are accompanied by a member of the project Leadership Team, so you won't be on your own. Here is what you can expect to happen during you host time:

1. Greet visitors and help them understand what they seeing.
2. Answer questions about the layout and the builder (tutorial materials are provided).
3. Monitor the working elements of the layout and deal with minor operating issues.
4. Assist with opening and closing activities.
5. Promote the hobby, the Division, and the NMRA in general.

We invite you to assist our Division while earning valuable points toward your Association Volunteer Certificate. Please fill out and submit the form below.
